| you can not run that sub at 2 ohms only 1 or 4 ohms. the 400.1 would still be under powering that sub even at 2 ohms.look into the hifonics BXi 610 (BXi610). this is a cheap but average amplifier that is stable at 1 ohm which is where your sub is wired to. oh yahh almost all kicker amps are only 2ohm stable, not 1. |

| Yes the 400watt at 2ohms will work, you will most likely have to bridge the sub for it to work at the 2ohms same thing happened with one of my subs |

| NO NO NO. The amp is not stable at 1 ohm. It might work and be loud, but it will likely overheat and have a shortened lifespan. Go for it if you may, but theres a reason kicker doesnt have a power spec @ 1 ohm.
If you have dual 2 ohm voice coils, you need an amp that makes max power at 1 or 4 ohm mono. |

| The ZX400.1 is not 1 ohm stable.
The amp will overheat and go into protect mode when driven hard for extended periods of time.
Small (400W x 1 RMS) 1 ohm stable amps are challenging to find. Would recommend rewiring the dual voice coils in series to 4 ohm and finding an amp that runs 400W x 1 at a 4 ohm load.
Amps that do 400W x 1 RMS at a 4 ohm load are plentiful and easy to find. Shouldn't cost much either... |

| yeh it will work perfectly fine just avoid cranking the bass a bit to high, distortion blew my kickersubs..
remember this: good amp means any sub will work, good sub means u need a good amp. that amp is quite good so it'll easily run that sub at 2ohms.
In car audio you can always go lower (eg: 200w can run a 100w) u jst cant go higher..
If it doesnt work your wiring is wrong.. best option take it to professional just get their advice before doing it urself, it will work 4 sure but they'll tell u how to wire it perfectly |
