What is wrong with my car?

My car recently broke down and I thought it was because I had no gas, so I put 2 gallons in the car, it took a while for it to start, maybe 15 seconds of me turning the key. And I then drove to a gas station to put in more gas. Well later on the car completely slowed down and I saw gas all over the parking lot I was in. It wasn't leaking once I stopped the car, it only started leaking once I tried turning it on, I would crank it for a few seconds, and that's when the car would start leaking. Does anyone know what is wrong with my car?

you have a leak in the fuel line. somewhere between the gas tank and the engine, there's a hole.
