I've found two places it MIGHT be but I'm just not at all sure. Does anyone have a picture aside from the one on autorepair.com? It seems ridiculous to me that the new sensor I'm trying to put in is black but every picture I see has some being black & some being white, and apparently the cap that goes over it is supposed to be black but all caps on my car are gray. They really couldn't make such a simple thing any more confusing.
Well my temperature gauge goes to the normal & then will randomly drop all the way down to zero. I replaced the thermostat and that wasn't it so I'm guessing it's the actual ECT.

This is the new one I have right now that needs to be replaced..I'm assuming.

So I'm 17 right now and in a little less than a year I'll be looking to buy a car. By then I'll have 7-8k that I'm looking to buy a car with. Currently I am insured on my moms 05 Toyota Sienna and it costs about $1000 a year to have me as a driver on her car, cheaper than it would have been on my dads civic($1200 on a 04), and that's after discounts for good grades and my parents not having an accident or ticket since before I was born. I won't be using the car that much, seeing as I am still in highschool and walk to my school, so not many miles would be put on each year.

If anyone has a prelude around that year, or anyone just has some knowledge on the subject, I'd really appreciate it if you answered leaving an estimate of what you think it might cost a year. If it's really just ridiculous do you think that going down to the previous model, the one with 135 hp, would save a decent amount of money on insurance? The two keys have the chip to start the car. So will the key I have cut work. The picture of the valet key in the book does not have a chip.
