    yeah for sure, not only that but you also may have data limits or even have to pay for the amount of data your phne views, this is why I left verizon actually

    Any smartphone does require the unlimited data plan at $30, regardless of if you use it on Verizon's network or not. If you just want it for WiFi, then buy a used one and don't activate it

    If I bought the Motorola Droid with Wifi internet access would I still have to...

    ...pay for internet with Verizon? I heard that it costs $30 a month for phone internet access with Verizon. If the Motorola Droid has wifi access to it then would I still pay that sum monthly? Please give me some good news cause I really want this phone!!
