    Have a look at Open Source Alternative, which has loads of good quality free software. What to use probably depends on how you imagine the logo. Gimp can produce nice results, but it needs a bit of sideways thinking sometimes.

    Free trial of adobe photoshop, it really is the best editing software and really is not that challenging to use.

    Does anyone know a good program that's easy to use for designing your own

    logo/template for a business? I'm currently in the process of 'branding' my own photographs but have yet to design a logo. I don't want to be paying money out to someone when it's something I could do myself, so are there any good FREE programs out there to do this?
