I would recommend the 15 unlimited plan then, since Pin messaging counts as data, you don't have to worry about going over 1.5mb, and you have the option of the opera loophole.

The answer is simple. With the $15 1.5MB plan you get 1.5MB data for emails and browsing and third party applications, with all data over and above 1.5MB subject to "overage protection" (http://your.rogers.com/business/wireless/services/dataoverageprotection.asp)

The $15 unlimited email plan gives you exactly that: unlimited e-mail and attachments. You can burn through 300MB (as proven on howardforums) and they don't care. What is not widely known is what Raxoren has set out in his Tutorial--that some third party applications (e.g. Opera Mini) can piggy-back on the unlimited plan. This only works for some people however.

I WISH! I'm an employee and called them before and they actually said "you're an employee, you should know we can't do that". Do you have the ROGEMP tag on your account with the half-off discount?

And yeah, we do have Retention's number in the store but we are very selective about who we give it to. Besides, all it takes is telling the main customer service number that you want to talk to the retention department and they'll transfer the customer right there anyway. It's not really a "special" number you've got there.

And that's also not true about family plans. I just upgraded two at once the other day. They changed that awhile ago.

Rogers actually released the alternative $15 BB data plan. For $15 you get 1.5mb of data.
