You should put your emergency flashers on. That way if a cop does see you he will be inclined to help rather than slow you down. He might even give you a police escort to the hospital.

Pull over, tell the officer the situation and in most cases if it's an emergency he will escort you there with lights flashing.

You turn on your emergency flashers and pull over, in most cases the officer will either escort you or take your friend in his car.

If it was that much of an emergency you should have called an ambulance.....Better stop if pulled over

If that happens, pull over, and when the cop comes over, explain the situation, and he may well help you out.

On the other hand, if this happens again, and someone has a life-threatening medical condition, call 911 and let professionals transport the sick or injured person.

What do I do if I'm rushing someone to the hospital and a cop flashes his lights?

Recently I had to rush my friend, who had appendicitis, to the hospital. I sped going about 60 in a 45. Lucky for me, no cop saw me.

What would I have to do if a cop caught me and flashed his lights? I can't just pull over because appendicitis can cause death if not treated fast enough.
