what the best version? Global servers? There's no such thing. I think you're referring to global search. Delete your current server list, get a trusted one and keep it up-to-date.

what the best version? Using 0.49b since it was released, still having great luck. I'll probably update to the newer version when I hear the few problems are solved. Can't argue with success, seeing I've found over 8000 files in music (whole cd's). Still looking for about 100 that haven't come up yet. I tried bittorent and couldn't find near what I do here. Old and new.

what the best version? Do a clean install, keeping the files that identify you in the network so that you don't lose your credits (I've listed them somewhere in the eMule section).
