sound advice, for acoustic solo performers.? ok, i know i'll need mics, leads, amps and a desk, but can anyone advise me on what specifically i should be looking at to 'amp up' five different acoustic solo performers? the gig is indoors, during the daytime, they all play guitar and sing, and a couple may have a spare guitar. i'd like the equipment to be basic as the gig is once a year and simple as i don't know much about the technical side of sound and acoustics, i basically want to make the performers louder than the people who are too rude to listen. i paid £400 last year to hire the set up, so anything less than that to buy equipment would be brilliant. thankyou.
