Can cats adapt easily/well between living indoors and outdoors? I found a stray kitten and for now we are keeping it outdoors because my family does not want pets inside. I am moving to a new place and would like to take it with me because I don't know if it can survive the winter outdoors like our other cats since its so small. However, during the summers I will not be in the country so I will need to leave it with my grandparents who will keep it outside until I come back. I'll have to do that every summer. I'm currently not in the States and there are a lot of stray cats here so its a bit difficult to find another home for it. I just wonder if it will be able to adapt between living indoors and outdoors well? I've never had a cat as a pet, only a dog, so any information would be helpful. Thanks!
