My 2006 Mazda 3 randomly shuts off while driving. Any Ideas what it may be?
It started as the radio shutting off when I used my blinkers, or stepped on the brake. Now the car shuts off when I use the windshield wipers, turning signals, or brakes. I have had diagnostics ran on it and no codes came up, though my check engine light has been coming on when it shuts off. It only stays down a few seconds and comes right back on...most of the time. This morning, it shut off for at least five seconds before it popped back on like it never shut off. I am at a total loss here.
It also does not recognize that the keys have been removed from the ignition. Maybe they are both part of the same problem?
