Sounds like attention getting or he doesnt like what you feed him. If it happens all the time.. the question is, is there something he asks for and you tell him no and then he starts this? If so then he is forcing the issue and honestly play the starve card and make him clean his own vomit up. he gotta learn a hard lesson and eat what you fix him. If its not that type of situation then take him to the hospital or doctor and let them sort it out... whether he likes it or not cause thats not a good issue and the acid in his stomach will eventually burn the tubing and throat. Which will make him use a feeding tube.

5 year old starts crying and vomiting during dinner. No symptoms of illness or anything, Why is this happening?

He only does this at dinner time. He and his 2 year old brother eat together. Usually he starts sobbing uncontrollably then vomits. Afterwards he is completely fine. We tell him we are taking him to the doctor to find out whats wrong and he says he doesn't need to go.

Should we be worried? IS he doing it for attention or some other reason? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.
Yesterday we got McDonalds ( a rare treat ) and he was fine. Today we have cheese quesadillas and apple slices and he vomits after eating all of it and is now completely fine.
