I am glad to hear you are sacrificing so much Mean while I just send the hungry kids in Guatamala money so they can eat and have clothes Bad me
For too long, the preferred form of grace has been "Oh, and an extra portion of fries please".
When saying grace before a meal, do Christians ever get this specific? Dearest God, Thank you for this bountiful food we are about to receive. Thank you for keeping it here in the USA instead of having it sent to some third world country to feed children that probably wouldn't even be True Christians if they grew up. And please don't let the abundance of food make our cholesterol levels go too high so it gives us heart attacks, or give our children type II diabetes before they are 16. Amen. Way to avoid the point. I must have hit too close to something uncomfortable. As for any lack of education I have, do you think it might be related to it being an education in a parochial school?
