What is the name of the book? Based in Colonial America, fictional, possibly teen fiction.....?

Native american girl from frontier shows up on the doorstep of family on eastcoast claiming she is family and her dad is their uncle. She says her parents died of disease and their dying wish is for her to live with them. She knows nothing about the modest culture and has to be taught by her cousin who doesn't like her. She ends up as a worker in the family's mill and brushed off until her grandpa comes to town an finds her.
