50mbps Verizon Fios internet download speed? So today the verizon technician came to my house and installed FiOS into my household. I bought the 25/50 mbps plan and he told me i would be able to download at that speed when I was wired, and slightly slower wirelessly. However, it seems that when I download files online and/or through Steam, I'm capped at 6-7mbps download speed. Is that normal? My connection is wired.
