i don't think that red meat or pork is healthy, simply put.
i enjoy fish and believe it's healthy,so that's my dietary choice.

The word is pescetarian, and it is a real word. From my understanding, pescetarians eat fish, eggs, dairy, but no meat + do so generally for health reasons. Fish is actually very good for you, but I personally still have issues with fisheries/over-fishing - it's true, most/many people who don't eat meat don't eat fish.

Though I believe a reduction in meat eating is still a move in the positive direction.

Some people want to be vegetarians the "easy" way, when you are vegetarian you are not suposed to eat both.

I don't like meat, and I feel that it's healthier to eat a diet that is low in meat.

I tried going vegetarian 20 years ago and ended up feeling extremely run down so I compromised and went demi-vegetarian.

There are lots of reasons that people give up meat from health, dislike of meat to religious or ethical reasons or even to save money.

The question should be "how come SOME people who don't eat meat will eat fish?

The answer is - they call themselves vegetarians, but are not. They are simply people who do not eat the meat of most animals. (pescitarian is not a real word, check yourself) They might be mistaken about what vegetarianism is, or perhaps just like the sound of the word anyway.

Some people choose to eat fish and not other meat for health reasons - fish is extremely healthy and contains little to no fat. Others can't bear the thought of eating a warm blooded creature, but don't consider fishes life to be of the same value.
