Can you use photos that does not have watermarks and/or copyright information? I have been looking around the internet and have found sites that run many ads on one page, with a photo that can be widely seen across the internet. This photo has no water mark, no copy right symbol, and i do not know who was originally the creator of the image was. I would like to make a site with many of these photos with ads also, to help pay for college (if it gets to that point) but my line of work that i am going into needs me to be scotch free of violations of any kind. The pictures i am looking at are anime photos. If i use the picture (if it is ok to do so because i do not see ANY watermark or copyright), and place a notice in a contact page, saying that if you prove the right of ownership i will take it down, will this void a lawsuit? Please Help and thank you in advance.
