What might be wrong with my 96 ford taurus, and approx repair cost?

so i accidentally pulled into an unfamiliar parking space (in the dark)too far, bumping kind of hard into the curb. i put the car in reverse and backed up a little and right away noticed that the braking felt different. like less power and the pedal needed to be pressed down further in order to stop. then as i drove the few miles home the brakes continued like that, the brake light on the dash came on and the blinkers and hazards were usually not working, but a couple of random times did work.

I'm pretty clueless about auto stuff. Any info would be awesome, thanks.

you blew one of ur brake lines take it to mechanic he will give u an estimate they probably run with parts and labour about $100 to $ 200 bugs and of course it depends where you go.

sounds like a brake line...not so expensive, just be careful take it to the mechanic immediately and if you feel your getting in trouble use the emergency brake, is works through a cable not through fluid in the lines. go get it checked.
