G1 for only $50.00 if it works take it that's a good deal. The G1 is way better then the Sony Ericsson.

Is the T-Mobile G1 a good phone? I currently have a Sony Ericsson which is alright and this dude at work is trying to sell me his Google phone for a decent price.. Around 50 bucks. Is this a good investment? Are there any cool features to this cell?
