Searching for the title and author of a fantasy book I readin the 90's that may have been written in the 80's? I am looking for a fantasy book I read in the early 90's, that may have been written in the 70's/80's, about a boy/teen who finds a magical sword. The sword is one of seven or nine. The sword grants the bearer wisdom, i.e. ability to learn languages. He is disappointed that he has found the least powerful of the swords but discovers that knowledge and wisdom are the most important weapons. There is another sword that shows up in the book (Soul-something (biter, maybe)). It's wielded by a man, I think with long white hair. The cover had a sword on it I believe and may have been one of a series which covered each of the 7/9 swords. I have been looking for this book for years and would appreciate ANY help.
