Nokia 6265i From Telus *ringtone help*

I have been tracking this phone for almost 4 months now, waiting for it to come out. No one has any clue to be honest about its status. It was supposed to come out Q4 2005 but was then pushed to Q1 2006. Still waiting to hear something

Star, pound, 639, pound ( * # 639 #) will get you to where you have to enter the code. As for what the code is I don't know, still working on that one myself. Hope that helps

Nokia 6265i From Telus *ringtone help*

Hey guys! This is a great thread. Answered many of my questions. But I have one more. Is there a way to install games onto your phonr w/o a mini sd card? When I try to install them using pcsuite my phone comes up grey in the install applications place and I can't install any apps. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Taz

p.s. I would have a 2gig mini sd card but I got scammed on ebay so I had to file a claim.

If you have PcSuite instaled from a CD, you might have drivers interfering with Diego drivers. I had the same problem. All I did is uninstaled all the drivers which came with PcSuite and reinstaled Diego all over again. It all worked after that operation.

P.S.: you still can use PcSuite with Diego drivers (at least it works on my comp)

    Cheers!

Nokia 6265i From Telus *ringtone help*

i was looking on this site for the same reason. i got mine at the end of march and almost a month later it wouldnt load when i was turned on. thankfully it happened 2 days shy of their 1 month instore return they just handed me a brand new one and everything was fine. well 2 weeks ago the new one i got did the same thing so i was searching online and found on one site that its a software problem and that theres a patch to fix it. the problem being you need to know about it before this happens to your phone. unfortunately the person who posted on that thread gave no information about finding the patch or anything. i brought my phone into telus to get it fixed for free and it took a little less then 2 weeks to fix it. i picked it up today and its fine but now im trying to find out anymore information about the patch or if theres a way to tell if they changed the software on my phone. my phone says its version V HL100V1000.nep 17-05-06 RM-66 if that mean anyhting to anyone. i may just end up calling nokia to see if they can help me

If someone is looking for a quick fix, as posted before, you can convert your .mp3 files into .3gp and it will work as a ringtone. The drawbacks are that .3gp is actually a video format and using this will not allow you to have a custom picture or ringtone for each contact. One ringtone for all contacts. It works, but is limited.
