    Help Unlocking Siemens C56

I'm still having trouble. I'm trying the "Calc Skey" part.

I see it says "Start..." So I press the power button very shortly. The phone does not turn on, and nothing happens.

I am using the correct COM port, using Boot Type BCOREBUG, and COMSPEED 115200.

My cable does work because I can power it off using Joker successfully.

    Help Unlocking Siemens C56

I do not believe this is the problem. I have tried holding the button just long enough to turn the phone on, just tapping the button, and holding the button the entire time, and make sure I do this as soon as I see that message from freia. None of this has worked.

    Help Unlocking Siemens C56

Sorry for posting again, but I just found something that I think may be important.

I downloaded the Siemens Data Suite, and was screwing around in the configuration panel. In the connection tab, if I select the correct port(COM1), and check the box next to use alternative method of connection, it will recognize my phone, but only if that box is checked.

Is there an equivelant function in Freia or another software used for unlocking my phone? Thanks a bunch!

Sorry for posting twice in a row, but I am almost positive that I need some kind of drivers for the cable, is there anywhere I can find this software?

    Help Unlocking Siemens C56

Hey, I'm trying to unlock my Siemens C56 that is locked to AT&T to be used with T-Mobile.

I read through a bunch of threads, and figured out that I had to order a aftermarket data cable, then use Freia to unlock it.

    I ordered this cable: http://tangshop.com/siemens-a56-c56-s55-data-cable.html

I ordered this one because I saw it linked to as a cheap, working cable. However, it is not working for me.

Here is what I am doing:
Running Freia (v10, v15, v18, none of them work) selecting the C55, then going to unlocking functions, clicking direct unlock no map is saved, then clicking use Original IMEI.

    This is the result:
FREIA - Engine build 10, Frontend build 9
Thanks goes out for the following:
    Maxim, Rolis, Sergey, PapaJoe, Lead,
TheWizard, Jozso (for hardware and cable
support and of course beta testing),
    Nico, Victor, Pinker, Tom,
and all the others who supports ...
    COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 8
    TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM1
TTY_OpenCOMPort : baudrate is 57600, DTR is enabled, RTS is enabled
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on
    TTY_CloseCOMPort : Closing COM1

I power on the phone as soon as I see the line:
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...

Is there anything I am doing wrong?
