Droid X on alltel, progress, need a little help though. Steve, Finally got time to really work on my phone and I have 3G working like a champ. I got the latest version of CDMA workshop 3.6.0. The cracked version 0f 2.7 running around does not give you an EVDO tab. Here I set PPP and PAP users for 10dig#@alltel.net and pass to alltel. Then for the 2 HDR users 10dig#@alltel.net but the pass on both is the phone's MEID that CW gives you on the left side and not it's HEX pESN. Wrote these things to the phone. In QPST under the M.IP settings I made sure that MN-HA is unchecked. Active profile has HA Hex as 101, AAA Hex as 3E8 and DMU public key as 10. PPP config has Req PW enc unchecked in UM and AN.

Droid X on alltel, progress, need a little help though. oOf.. that's a while, in that case, I'll keep working on getting my DX working on alltel's 3G I know I've got the exact correct HA Authentication key and using the correct PPP/HDR user/pass's... but still not working. I'm wondering if the Droid's radio could possibly be flashed to the droid x? Because I seen someone made a radio flash(maybe it was a rom.. ) for the Droid that is Generic, ready for any programming, no crazy proxy work arounds and what not... but then again, I don't think alltel uses a proxy because my eris worked perfect on alltel 3G without messing with proxy stuff... hmm.

Droid X on alltel, progress, need a little help though. I knew their should be a way to get the serial port, wonder if this works for the moto droid as well, but thanks for the info. Oh, I am about to abandon this effort, my alltel is turning into att soon, just got a letter in the mail saying that soon I will be swapping out my current phone for an exchangable phone. meh, oh well. I will be selling at least 1 moto droid possibly 2 if anyone is interested. both rooted, running stunning 2.2.

Droid X on alltel, progress, need a little help though. Well ESN will be the big part yes. Programming the phone would/should push the correct PRL you need. If *228 does not work then do *22801. Yes you will also need to ##PST# and make changes for your data functionality. MMS is the only thing I never got to work and seems to be the most common of functions that does not work for others.
