Pete has just BARELY came out with his version of a sourced FroYo ROM, BB v0.3 not even half an hour ago. I quickly installed this, moved wap/mms via root explorer. 3G's good to go on this rom. I suggest you guys check it out:

Also, a nice theme you can install right over it: xTheme (Droid X theme) from Fabolous of androidforums.com:

Just seems like from the filename it's not writing enough NV items. Do you use the NV generator on whiterabbit's website? If not:

www.whiterabbit.org and select your CDMA WS version.

Source for FroYo is out on AOSP. It won't be too long till we cricket users will have a workable ROM on our phones. The only sourced FroYo ROM, UD's, has some incompatibility issues, and I would avoid it. BB v.2.1 is arguably the best non-source FroYo ROM we cricket users can get on right now.

I'm running the latest baseband with Android 2.1 and it's working fine though I didn't notice any significant improvement with reception or evdo. As far as upgrading to Froyo I'd wait until the official release comes out for the Droid; it's said to be due mid to late July. If you want to dive into the beta release candidate of Froyo then you'll just have to make sure the one you get has a kernel with iptables and that it's rooted. Some of the cricket settings will probably stay but you will have to reinstall autostart.sh and u2nl and maybe set the APNs settings. If you upgrade the baseband then you have to do everything all over again including writing the NV items and the prl. Perhaps it would be best to do both the baseband and the OS updates at the same time that way you only have to flash it back to the cricket settings once. Personally I'm just going to wait until Froyo is officially released.

6399 and 6499 are both nationwide prls. As for baseband, Im using C_01.43.01P with Android 2.2. I get good signal. But, I have the $15 HTML plan so I get between 400 and 700kbps. Before I got the HTML plan, I got around 150kbps or so.
