Why does the Religion and Spirituality section seem to be an argument between...

...believers and non-believers? Why can't people resist the temptation to attack each others belief systems.
I personally really don't care either way what another person believes in as long as they are respectful about it.
I think it's funny that some of you are assuming that i'm religious when i really can't stand religion and don't want to hear about it, I just don't go around telling everyone they're wrong. This section is always interesting though, so by all means continue your arguments, i'll even contribute. Yeah, i can be a jerk sometimes, and I understand that it can be amusing, I just don't get why atheists bother to come to a section called Religion and Spirituality.
