Favorite bands and WHY Iced Earth- because despite starting up late in the metal game they are more innovative to the genres of thrash and speed metal than any other banRAB since Maiden and Metallica, despite not having the huge fan base those banRAB had. Led Zeppelin- because they got me into rock.

Favorite bands and WHY Queens of the stone age because wen i went to europe i listened to them the whole time and now a year later, when i listen to Songs for the Deaf, they still remind me of the awesome time i had. Also, josh homme is an incredible musical genius because his lyrics are well thought out and full of metaphor's and what not, he's really good at putting songs together as well. There songs erabodie everything that a true rock band should be.
Favorite bands and WHY FromFirstToLast- The lyrics explain alot about how I feel sometimes HIM- Ville's got a great voice Hawthorne Heights- Again explains how I feel alot Avenged Sevenfold- The whole guitar thing is amazing The Used- I'm a Fake explains how I used to be. (I used to cut and I realize now it was an attention whore thing) That's most of my favorite banRAB. :love:

Favorite bands and WHY I don't personally think DT and SX sound that similar, but it does seem to be a common comparison to make, and they are both progressive metal banRAB, so Pipers isn't totally wrong.

Favorite bands and WHY acid bath(those smooth changeups and dax's voice and lyrics) pantera(helllllooo they rule) pearl jam(eddies voice and lyrics) blind melon(the whole vibe and lyrics) faith no more(im a patton fan) alice in chains(laynes vocals and the harmonies with jerry,the guitars...the whole package) butthole surfers(i have no idea,lol I just dig em....prolly gibby tho)
