thats way too big for your first car. You`ll only end up scratching it anyway. Just get a second hand one so it wont matter if theres a few dents. Get a better one after a year or so.

The best hummer is when the person applying has your "meat" in their mouth, while you dip each "two veg" in a shot of Tequila, then get them to lick the salt off afterwards! It's called the "Mexican Meal".

John unless you have a hellva job or you got super sweet parents I just can't see a high school kid affording a Hummer. For one thing they get horrible gas mileage, expensive to maintain, high insurance cost,& they are slower then a VW Bug with 3 flats. They started as military vehicles for where the Jeeps couldn't go(deep water, etc.) Then they we're called Hum Vees and weren't built and killed by GM. When they finally produced a street version it was known as the AM(American Motors) General Hummer. Whem GM took over the Hummer they renamed it the H2(Hummer),changed the body, interior, and engine.

I don't know nothing about Hummers in particular. But i saw some and i think they are cars with some common properties:

    pros:
    - known powerfull fuel based engines
    - resistant metal structure designed for long hard use
    - good tires for hard condition roads. mean adherence and quality resin
    - sales&service assistance in many countries
    - good image of power

    cons:
    - high costs: product cost; maintenace cost; high consumption of gas
    - requires very good abilities to drive in less comfortable conditions
    - because of its value could be subject of envy and potentially stealth

Advice: consider your/ yours actual and future budget to determine balance between monney expenses and incomes this car could bring you (consider extra cost as taxes); it also needs parking place, washing, gasoline, break fluid, battery maintenace and so on like most cars do. Try to get information from hummer owners and users. this way only you'll know what to expect from this car, commercial info is obviously subjective.

Possible helpfull information: Jeep Wrangler's were close enough; i drive one couple of times and found difficult to handle at first attempts. Very sensitive as direction, brakes and pretty tough suspension. But you can rely on it on snow; ice; dust even in extremely conditions as temperature or air flow; very good stability on plain or obliques surfaces. But God you need strenght to change a tire, to move it when traction crashes for one reason or other. Good move is to foresee if some spare parts as fuel injectors; electric bulbs are subject of ussually changing and to buy them as caution. Also minimal tools such as air pump or compressor, screwdrives and things like these are sometimes benefic. And last but not least: need friends to ask and to help you.
Good luck. May it be only your first car...
    Best regards

Men that drive Hummers are trying to make up for the lack of ones male reproductive organs size.

They are also by far one of the worst built vehicles of all time
