In Flames Lunar Strain is the only remotely decent In Flames album.
In Flames
In Flames Hmmm, it is tough with In Flames, I would say either Subterranean or Clayman, but if you don't mind the singer's new voice then Come Clarity
In Flames I have the jester race and colony albums my fav songs are artifacts of the black rain and erabody the invisible dont really like their new stuff but its all still pretty good
In Flames You serious? How can one like Clayman and not like Colony? Colony is more original, better guitar tone, songwriting, etc etc. And I like The Jester Race the most. CLASSIC Melodic Death Metal. Genre defining.
In Flames Alex Pardee Anyways just bought their album on vinyl and I like it a lot. Also I love to play Take This Life on Guitar Hero even though I never play.
In Flames I was going to post in an existing in flames thread, but searching for that is an annoyance seeing as in is too short. Anyway, which In Flames album should I get? I have The Jester Race and Whoracle and love them both and decided to expand my collection and seeing as I have some spare cash at the moment i'd like to know which too get next.
In Flames Their older stuff was much better. Their last album was horrible.
In Flames Clayman without hesitation Everything else is weak in comparison
In Flames I just dl'ed their new album-A Sense Of Purpose(yes dled cuz i lost hope after buying their previous ones) and i have mixed feelings bout it...It's actually not that shabby, but its not great either...would recommend ppl to dl and check it out 1st though. Some of you might like it...i definitely didn't though. Edit: After listening to it a second time, i just found the pace too slow. No fast riRAB-killer songs just makes it a let down imo.
In Flames I got In Flames - Colony and Dark Tranquility - Projector at the same time and I must say I spent more time spinning Projector over Colony. After hearing other material from those banRAB I decided to just stick with them two. Saying that Projector, Katatonia and Opeth never strayed far from my cars tape deck between 1999-2000.
