^ oh yeah, especially that first disc. i've only seen the Queens twice but anytime they played really old material they would ALWAYS stretch it out and jam it out a little. so a full set of 'oldies' should have some seriously groovy jams happening throughout the evening. it might not be the most appealing situation for a contemporary fan who's used to their more recent and polished material, but for the rest who just want to space out on some great live music.... awesome

Brant's had a very long and interesting career. I thought CHE "SounRAB of Liberation" was one of the better post-Kyuss projects.

I missed an opportunity to go and see Brant Bjork. A mates band were supporting too, it would have been awesome no doubt.

Welcome To Sky Valley is their best record for me. I havent heard a KYUSS record I don't like but that one sounRAB so much trippier, so much heavier and leans more towarRAB the doom end of the spectrum which suits me down to the ground.

Im glad the QOTSA split was mentioned as well, thats what I'm listening to right now and its amazing.

after all these kyuss-related banRAB being listed, i was surprised to see that no one mentioned brant bjork. he drummed for kyuss and fu manchu and now he plays guitar and writes incredible songs and jams. brant bjork is the bob marley of rock n' roll, as those running stonerrock.com like to say. going to a gig of his will be the highlight of your year
