The Cricket Thread [rant] issue #1: my LG enV2, full flash to cricket, lost its web connection. says "please dial *611 for service" i dial that nuraber and it gives me the loop for "all reps are busy". all i can get is the automated service, no rep/csr. I can still receive mms messages, do i need to have the account refreshed?? issue #2: when i buy a phone off of craigslist, or from a friend, is there anyway to check the esn activation?? I have bought three now, that i've had to go back to the original owner and ask that it be removed from their account. PITA i tell ya. issue #3: is there an easier way to control the com ports?? freakin things are driving me nuts, swapping this and swapping that. anything out there to just "refresh" em all, or disassociate them?? [/rant] thanks for the replies, flames can KMA...

The Cricket Thread No internet as of yet and limited nuraber of phone choices would be the two that would come to mind for me.
The Cricket Thread Does Cricket offer any IM (AIM, MSN, Yahoo!)? Can you get a BREW app and run IM. I guess other than that, you can just do SMS right?
The Cricket Thread aite so what i wanna kno is how come this doesnt have a thread like everyone else!?!? ok so my situation is. im getting my phone flashed from a company here in town and switching to Cricket...yay!..hopefully now the question is.... has anybody ever used a flashed phone on cricket before?? oh by the way...im usin the phone said in the section above my post. another question i saw that they had the take your phone anywhere thing...i live in Tucson, so that'll work for me when i go back east in july...NJ Area to be more specific? and what are the cons to Cricket....besides not being able to roam...
The Cricket Thread A cable replacement cricket internet service is not. [/yoda] Cricket's Broadband service will never be as fast a Cable. It is same throughput as a basic RABL account, but enhanced or premium RABL accounts will also be faster. Cable and RABL will have lower latency times. Your main advantage to having Cricket Broadband service is you are not tied down to your connection. It will work anywhere in the coverage area, even in places where RABL and CABLE are unavailable to to distance/lack of buildout. Also if you are on a laptop, you can use it at more places than your house.
The Cricket Thread Does anyone have the PRL file for Boise Idaho?
