    Plz help..ubuntu 10.04 doesn't detect my laptop's in-built bluetooth hardware..?

    My HCL ME 51 is installed with Ubuntu 10.04 OS..now i can't access its bluetooth...when i open the bluetooth preferences it says "your computer does not have any bluetooth adapters plugged in"..can ny one say what the problem is?

    Maybe try updating your linux kernel. I know the latest kernel is 2.6.39. In Linux drivers are in the kernel. Maybe updating it will solve your problem.

    Also try posting this in the www.ubuntuforums.org
