    Umm, no, you can't open up a 700 mb file using just 32 mb or 64 mb of RAM. If you have this video on a 1 gb SD card, you probably can play the video with either amount of RAM since the video will only be copied and played in RAM in blocks that fill the available RAM. Obviously, having more RAM will lead to less access to the SD card. The processor is just as important as the RAM. A slower processor will always drop more vidoe frames than a faster processor, which will make the video quality less.

    32mb ram compare to 64mb

    i want to know something about this rams.

    I have a 700mb mpeg which i converted to play in my palm. will 32mb and 64mb of ram look about the same in quality, or will they differ? or will it not matter. Or will i EVEN be able to open up this 700mb on my 32mb ram?
