Why isn't the government cracking down on banks for letting foreclosed homes rot? They're just sitting empty, dragging down property values and making the neighborhood look bad. Shouldn't the banks at least take care of the place until they can get rid of it? I mean, the nicer a home looks, the more chance someone is going to buy it. Unless the buyer likes fixer uppers, no one is going to buy a rotted, run down looking house.
