He's a very conservative politician that used the Republican Healthcare plan Mitt Romney gave him, then pushed the Republican cap-and-trade proposal from the 1990s, and gave a stimulus way too small for the crash and loaded it with republican tax cuts and aid to red state Not to mention we're still in Afghanistan (but he never promised to leave there, I knew he was a pretty conservative guy on foreign policy when I voted for him) So, he's pissed off a lot of moderate and left of center voters who wanted change instead of republican and conservative policies
