It's already happened. No running in the school playground, children should wear goggles when using Blue-Tack and egg boxes should not be used for model making.
I wonder what health and safety have to say about sticky back plastic.

Current Health and Safety is just another branch of P.C. Totally mad. I blame the American, all started with the compensation culture.

Anoher one this morning. 15 year old going for work experience at property developers and council insisted on safety check and £350 insurance. Sounds almost reasonable until you know that thre property developer is his dad and the premises are his own home!

Health & Safety has gone mad. What can we do ?

    Hi,

Apart from banning snowballs and conkers at school, which is madness in itself, adults are warned about sunbeams.

I lived and worked in the Mid-East for 8 yrs, wandering around in temperatures of well over 100 deg F. No problems.

Goggles when using blue tack !

There are thousands of examples of this, replacing common sense with rules.

I suspect that a lot of it is jobsworths doing.
ie nothing better to do except dream up more rules.

It will be don't let the kids play in a playground in case they fall off the swings next, if we are not careful, and should ignore a lot of this nonsense.

    What do you reckon ?

    Bob
