intramural team means they only play against each other, its not competitive, not like playing against other schools, this intramural team does not earn you ranking points or anything

the school only offers competitive female teams, intercollegiate and scholarship are all for players that have excelled in USTA Junior competitions

by the looks of it, i dont think houston offers a competitive male team, one of friends who was ranked number 1 U18 junior in BC from Canada got a scholarship to play at Tulsa, i think thats in New Mexico, you might want to check out that college

Could someone fill me in on this tennis sport?

I want to play tennis at the university of houston but they only have a males Intramural team, what does that mean. They have a females division 1, scholarship, and Intercollegiate. I want to know the difference between intramural and all the other terms the females have like division 1, scholarship, and intercollegiate. I am really good at tennis and would like to play it there in hopes of becoming a professional player. But is it the right place for me? Can someone help me please!
