You maybe able to rent a pair of bolt cutters at your local hardware store.

they will need to be sharp, if they work at all
i'd just use a hacksaw

HELP!!! How can i unlock my bicycle rope?

so this is what happened? i rode my bike, locked it with rope when i was done, enter the house and suddenly i forgot where did i put my key? i searched for it everywhere but no luck finding? yesterday i got a combination lock for the bicycle but unfortunately my bike is still lock with rope. I tried to cut it with knife and scissor but it didnt work? can someone please tell me what should i use to cut the rope. i would appreciate it. please and thx
