you seem to be more mature than youngsters your age. if you want 200-page books, i usually see popular tv characters with that many of pages, and then there's the 600-page novels all the adults rave about.

if i were you, i would just spend two hours in Chapters or Indigo and let the books interest me naturally

i used to like Everworld books, but they don't sell them anymore (i don't think) - thank g*d for friends

    Books I read and reccomend:

Hatchet (a survival story about a kid lost in the woods. Its pretty cool).

Loyd Alexanders The Book of three. The Wizard of earthsea. The Hobbit. (good fantasies)

The Leopard Dagger (a mysery set in the time of knights and swordsmen)

The Golden Goblet (historical mysery set in ancient egypt. Really interesting enaging and action-packed)

    Treasure Island (it has pirates).

Ronald Dahl books (Charlie and the Cholate Factory,, The BFG, Matilda, James and the giant peach).

If you like goofy humour then PLEASE read Daniel Pinkwater. His better books are Alan mendelson the boy from mars, Lizard Music, The Snarkout boys and the avacado of death and the Snarkout boys and the baconburg horror.
