The Lovely Bones #1: "My name is Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie."

    Synopsis:
Based on the best selling book by Alice Sebold, The Lovely Bones is the story of a 14-year-old girl from suburban Pennsylvania who is murdered by her neighbor. She tells the story from Heaven, showing the lives of the people around her and how they have changed all while attempting to get someone to find her lost body.

The scenes of her in heaven or the in between were very beautiful and powerful, like you felt everything.

I agree. It was a tragic movie, but somehow, I think, they missed the point. The fantastic elements took over the story and strangled the family drama. There wasn't a proper balance between the fan tragedy, the fantasy and Susie's new world vs. the loss of innocence.

I really want to see this. I love the novel. The first time I read it, the story just stuck with me so I can't wait to see it on a movie screen

I saw this movie and it really wasn't what I expected. It did have beautiful scenes and I did enjoy the movie, but I went into it thinking it was just going to be something a little different.

Fell in love with this book almost immediately.

The movie was good.. wish it had some of the things I loved from the book in it though.

I'd definitely recommend it. I was super worried about seeing the film because I cherish the novel but it captured the essence of the novel for the most part.

I've seen this movie a few weeks ago.

One scene glued me to the screen, i was on the edge of my seat when Susie's sister broke into the killer's house and when she's in his bedroom, the guy comes home and hear the noise upstairs and starts to run like crazy in the house.
