More childish answers and questions. Do you not get bored starting things up. Lincoln freed the slaves, learn history. He would be proud of how the country is starting to come together. That is unless he read your question.Oh...he does not compare himself to Lincoln by the way!
Lincoln was a product of the moral zeitgeist of his time. He didn't think black people should be equals; he stated that white people should be the superior race. His emancipation proclamation (which was almost useless, since it only applied to the Southern states where Lincoln's words held no power) was purely for economical reasons and to help the North. He was apprehensive about freeing the slaves. So I'm betting the if he had the ability to see Obama get inaugurated, of course he would role over in his grave. He may have "freed" the slaves, but this was certainly not his vision of America. Sorry to say it, but that "great American hero" we learn about in 2nd grade is not quite so glorious when you consider the reality of the mentality at that time. Obama is hardly like Lincoln.

Obama doesn't compare himself to Lincoln. The Republicans on here do so they bash Obama.
