How do I view my contacts from an old sim card on my new motorola backflip for AT&T?

I just purchased a Motorola Backflip yesterday. I am using the same sim card as my previous phone. My backflip synced all of my facebook contacts to my phone, and now those are the only ones in my contacts. My address book from my sim card is gone. But when someone from my old address book texts/calls me, their name comes up....anyone know why this is or how I can fix it? Thank you! By the way, I have the same number.
