HOW TO: LG VX9900 enV on Cricket with All Data Features Working including Brew!!!

Ok, so I successfully and easily (thanks to this awesome tutorial) flashed my ENV2 from Verizon to Cricket. MMS and WAP work excellent with one exception. Any text messages sent through the internet show up as jurabled characters. My example is my local newspaper sending me text alerts. They are no longer legible and I really need this fixed. Is there a decode setting I may have missed? This same problem was noted by other posters but I couldn't find anywhere where it was answered. I appreciate any and all responses to help fix this problem!

HOW TO: LG VX9900 enV on Cricket with All Data Features Working including Brew!!!

Hey bud, It's josh again. I followed your steps for my 8300 like you said & then used the 9900.dll file for my MMS like you said & still not working. I can go into program mode & check everything on phone & it all shows it is in there. I even went as far as using your paramtable1.zip file to see if that would help. I can post all of my LG Download NV Edit Pics so you may take a look at them if that might help. Or just go here http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...ket?p=13855978 & I have all my pics on this thread of what I got going on. Or if any one else could help me out please let me know.

Thank you again for your help.

HOW TO: LG VX9900 enV on Cricket with All Data Features Working including Brew!!!

I keep reading about this prblem that exists with the media player not working. The voyager to cricket was my ABSOLUTE FIRST hack or anything else having to do with cellphones other than calling and texting.

That being said I was wondering if anyone had an ideas, at least on the probability of functionality of the following idea.

I have noticed that the voyager seems to be very friendly to .swf files (just look at any games that have been downloaded already, or even the backgrounRAB and apps. They are ALL .swf files..... I have seen a few places online where they have .swf media player designed for use in web pages and the like. Any chance this might be able to work in the voyager (or even the EnV?) If so how much tweaking would it LIKELY require? As I stated I am a complete and utter noob when it comes to this kind of thing, just trying to offer my opinion and see if maybe it helps others (who may then be able to help me.....)

    Let me know.....

HOW TO: LG VX9900 enV on Cricket with All Data Features Working including Brew!!!

we cannot post warez here, and any part of that app is warez

    please read the forum rules

when you read, the passworRAB should be blank...the value is there, but it is write only...you cannot read it out...this is true with lg download as well as with qpst

your problem is obviously something else...there are so many things it could be, i wouldn't know where to start

    1. triple check all settings for accuracy
    2. verify active wap on acct
    3. refresh acct
