Should I feel guilty for using anti-anxiety medicine to cope?

Should I feel guilty for using anti-anxiety medicine to cope?

A couple of years ago I started a new career.
While I was in school preparing for this new career I started to feel extreme anxiety.
I had trouble trying to sleep to a point where I had to get some form of help.
I had never gone to a psychiatrist but thought it was necessary to get an opinion.
The doctor prescribed Ambien and Zoloft as well as Klonopin.
To make a long story as short as possible.
    Here is the rest abbreviated.
-Tried several antidepressants for weeks to months no relief in anxiety.
-Only medication that has helped me is Xanax and Ambien.
-Doctor also prescribed Gabapentin since non of the antidepressants were helping to lower anxiety.
-I have since graduated and am in my new job but still the anxiety is there and this is after a couple of years now of cognitive therapy as well.

As a result, I am on 1-2mg of Xanax and sometimes I use the Gabapentin and often use Ambien.

I have gone to 2 doctors in different practices to be evaluated and these medicines have been their choices. It is as if the antidepressants do not work for my anxiety at all.

The medication prescribe really does help me function but there is this guilt feeling about taking it.

It is the difference between feeling extremely on edge or functioning properly.
Should I feel guilty for using this medicine to help me cope?
I just would like to know others views on this.
I have given cognitive therapy and it helps me express my concerns but the medicine has helped me function.

In addition, I exercise at least 3 times a week to help with my mood.
    This includes cardio and yoga.

    Please sincere answers only.
