Key chip reprogramming 2000 chrysler lhs? my mom doesn't have an extra key and I want to either buy an extra key or a remote online cause it is cheaper - i want to know if i could take that key to have it cut by a place like ace hardware and then program it myself (they come with diy instructions) - i also want to know if programming a remote myself would be too difficult sorry - i called a dealership and they said the model of car came with two keys one black and one gray - the gray key costs $60 and the cutting and reprogramming is 24.95 however I could buy it online and pay for the only the cutting and reprogramming. The black key replacement is a flat cost of $10 and both keys would start the ignition. thanks for your info though I appreciate it
