Human leage isn't europian.... so i never said they were. so they had some songs...so they sold some recorRAB....i never said someone else didn't make a song before madonna....i never said she invented it.....she just busted the scene wide open...regarless of how much you like...or hate..madonna...thats what she did. I can't help it if 37 banRAB/artists/groups didn't get as much credit as you would like them too. News Flash....there is a difference between being a popular song...and being one that sets sales/media recorRAB fo its time and genre. EVen you guiys have to agree with me on that. If you look not too far back from today even...you will notice that techno music was barely heard on the radio/tv at all....just in the circles of people that frequent establishments that play it. Then a song or 2 bust out a big sales turnout and gets plastered all over the radio and tv. Before ya know it...its the new thing and all the record labels and promoters are trying to get there piece of the techno dollar that they were previously complacent about.

its a similar thing back then....history repeats itslef....someone back in the day was the first to hit big with blues....jazz....swing....big band...hell...even centry's ago the same shit happened under different circumstance when guys like Mozart and Beethoven spread there musical style all over. They weren't the first...but they became the first to become world famous in their style. Sure nowadays we have history about all kinRAB of composers...DeBussy, Stravinsky, Chopin, Brahms, Schubert, Scriabin...etc....some were not of the exact same style or even time period. But few were able to hit fame while others were simply popular.

first...learn the difference between two and too. second... my professor didn't learn from hearsay. third..he was deeply involved in the music industry as you might have noticed by one of my posts above describing his musical experience throughtout this country and the world as well as holding many degrees and different jobs throughout the industry.

first....duh....obvously you don't need to be #1... but being #1 i obviousy going to have a greater impact ahn being #25 is it not?..even you have to agree with me there. Second....just cuz your on tv or the radio period...does not make you influential or a big hit. It simply means you are selling some recorRAB. again... #1 is bigger than #25. as you might be able to guess...a song at #1 will obviously be a huge mark on the musical history world compared to a song at #25 or whatever before madonna hit the scene. Fact is that through resarch of sales/media coverage/genreal opinon...my professor has shown(with agreement throughout the industry) that madonna is commonly regarded as the first American in america to hit big with a completely electronic song. No one ever said that no one else made an electronic song before her (hmmmm have i said that before?) no one ever said madonna invented it... no one ever said that no other group/artist/mand ever had a song on the charts at all...hell im sure a few even hit close to #1 or even got a #1 for at laest a week or 2....the difference in which my prof/me/ and other musical people talk about(yes there are others than just me and my prof that think this is true..not inlcuding the other students) is that being #1 for a long period of time and sweeping across the country in all forms of media....makes madonna a bigger mark on musical history than other groups who didn't achieve such market penatration. How hard is it to believe this?...you guys yourselfs said that madonna rides on coatails of the media or wahtever the hell it was. for those very reason is why madonna is regarded as being the first to have such a big hit... cuz she is the one who everyone knows did it....and did it big. tons of people agree that there are other groups out there back then.... they just weren't as well coverd back then...it took them more time to make their mark than madonna... she did it overnight instead over a period of time. which again...is why she is regarded as the first big hit. She just exploded overnight. the other groups you speak of were just a smaller scale and didn't achieve as much fame...which can also be proven by the fact that those groups faded from the news and spotlight after time...madonna is still here today pissing of people that hate her and maiking music for those that like her.

Actually your first little spat about the forest fires is a little flawed. I'm guess Mad Punk took the time to study the scene as well as be in it. If I lived through 12 forest fires and really watched how they build up and how wind affects direction and intensity of the flames and all that shit, hell yeah I think i'd be more knowledgable about it than some guy sitting in an office studying all that. Sure there are plenty of things that you can learn and understand and be very knowledgable in without ever experiencing it for yourself. But there is NEVER, and I'll repeat that.........NEVER, a anything like experiencing a movement, scene, topic, or whatever you want to call it. Ever.

And can we please stop talking about Madonna. Its getting really annoying. Its making me hate her even more than I do. I hate her music. I hate her fake accents. I hate her trying to preach her politics. I hate her religions-of-the-week. I hope she gets into an accident and gets horribly disfigured so people will realize what a shallow piece of shit she has become. She's not controversial anymore and I think that fact really kills her. And she can't even sell out concerts at MSG because her music sucks now.
