how do you change the water in this lamp , when it becomes dark and black ?
The bulb is a type S 40 Watts

Twist out the bulb like any other lamp and then screw in the new one. (I'm still looking to see what size bulb it takes. 25W doesn't heat up the lava very well for this type of lamp.
