Post-revival Family Guy. It unsuccessfully tries to be funny. The 1-2 minute cutaways just makes me fall asleep.

    Tori .

cartoons everyone liked but you hated.

I don't like Family Guy much anymore
My attention span has lengthened quite a bit
Peter Griffin I once thought was kinda funny
But now he's just a stupid obese twit

Every Monday night through Friday on the Swim
Two reruns put my interest out of joint
I passed on Cartoon Network altogether
Since they've lost Futurama, what's the point?

American Dad's more funny than their sex jokes
Machine gun laughs and fat guys in the nude
Plus I find the Smiths' adventures more appealing
Than talking dogs and babies with a 'tude

You can't stick to your plots for very long
Without pop culture gags or cutaways
    Your comical typecasting is atrocious
Your writers must not get out much these days

I don't watch VH1 that much to care
Which actor you've been cracking jokes about
You have far too much fun abusing Megan
If you don't like her that much, write her out

I guess I'll just avoid you for a while
'Til my faith in Western cartoons is restored
Plus I bet they're all quite sick of me complaining
In every song I've posted to this board

But my patience with this program has worn thin
It's just the same old jokes we've heard before
At least I've still got Boondocks and my anime
'Cause I don't like Family Guy much anymore

Even as a VERY young child I hated this show. I remember watching them jump around clouds and solve problems with their rainbow power and all I could think to myself was, "what the ____ is this?"

Agreed. We have enough of those shows.

Errr, bad error in judgment. I got kind of in the flow with this topic that I didn't realize I wrote it that way. I don't dislike it because of it's vast popularity and I don't usually think that way--just more annoyed. I've deleted it out, though I do admit, the story doesn't seem to do or say anything to me on why it's considered the #1 Disney film out of the rest by millions of people. I think the film's great, but there are other Disney films which are so much worthy in my opinion.

I got very sick of the "look how funny we're being, making fun of Bill Clinton in a kids show" jokes. There's a very fine line between annoying-funny and annoying-annoying. The Animaniacs were on the bad side of that line most of the time. I'm not sure why you're talking about earning rights and stuff, they're cartoons, there's no such thing as rights for cartoons.

He was worse than disrespectful, he was condescending and basically a complete jerk (a lot like the show itself). Anytime anyone said something that was factually incorrect about the show or the industry in general, he'd show up on his "industry insider" high horse and berate the hell out of them for not knowing everything he does about cartoons and how the business works. And then he'd explain why his humor was so intelligent and why we were idiots for not liking it. And what's even worse was that the show's fans would cheer him on for being a jerk, saying "yeah you tell 'em, Bill!" as he arrogantly spat on anyone who dared to dislike the show.

You have to ask? If you want an example: Yin Yang Yo, Phineas and Ferb, the short-lived Catscratch, several Kids WB! shows, etc. etc.

It's pure fail because you're a TT hater and I'm not and thus my it doesn't completely agree with yours? OH HORRORS!

But you never had to call an opinion pure fail before? Well, congratulations fanboy, you actually did something new! And since I see it upsets you so much, I'll say it once more:

Teen Titans >>>>>>>> Justice League!

I agree that it's not first place, but disliking it because it's popular? Not sure that makes sense.

Spongebob/Fairly Oddparents: I never cared for either of these shows. The cast itself (from what I've watched) were just too goshdurn annoying. I suffered through the latter to see those Jimmy/Timmy Hours through my general enjoyment of the Jimmy Neutron franchise. I want my two hours back.

Ben 10: Actually, I was surprised to realize how popular this show was. My friend tried to get me into it, but I can only take an annoying ten-year-old as a main character so far.
