Do you think the ban on importation and sale of machine guns to civilians would ever be overturned?

Here in the United States in case yahoo puts this in a different country, but do y'all think that it would ever happen if we get a pro gun president? Or anything to do with the NFA, think its possible?
Well it's a firearms question technically, and just so its about hunting as well, will spooked deer return to the same spot if they were shot at in that location? Would the chance be high of seeing that deer the same season in the same area or very slim?
