I ride a fixed gear with road pedals, I want to switch to mountain pedals, which pedals should I get?

Which one is better for a fixed gear, mountain pedals, or road pedals. I'm an avid cyclist, and I also race, so which pedals are better for my needs. I mash a lot, I skid a lot, and I want pedals that can satisfy that. So which clip less pedals should I get.
I usually ride for 60 km and I rarely get off the bike, But If i get off the bike It's usually for eating not walking so which clip less pedals are better for my riding style
