    Someone suggest a phone!

Hmm, I'm not sure. I wish there was a carrier with decently priced data plans. Cingular has the $20 unlimited w/ Xpress Mail plan but that's for "Smartphones", i.e. not a phone with PDA capabilities. The options suck . Hm, might just be better off with a phone with wifi or something.

Thread moved. I am not sure why you thought it belonged in the Mobile Technologies/News/Investing/Issues forum.

    Someone suggest a phone!

Okay so here is my situation.
I am graduating from high school and going to college in the fall. My contract is up with Verizon July 5th and let's just say I'm tired of having to do seem edits on my phone to get it to operate properly. Also, the lineup for my oh-so-exciting "new every two" benefit are less than moving.
Hmm, why would I want another locked up phone?

So-I'm planning on switching carriers. Definitely Cingular since the coverage in my area is better than anyone else except for Verizon. I'm considering getting a Nokia N61 or something of the likes, but I'm not really positive. I want a phone that can allow opening/editing MS office files, has a decent browser, etc. I'm not really looking for the iPhone however since I don't really have $500+ to spend on a phone. Any idea what I'd be looking at in terms of data plans? I'm really just looking for someone who has a good idea of what I'm looking for to offer a suggestion or advice, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
